SERVE & CONNECTIONS DIRECTOR

Laura Garry

We can’t wait to help you find your place of service!

For questions about serving, contact Laura Garry laura@jacobswellec.org

As part of the registration desk team you'll help register new families into the computer system. You'll be one of the first people to welcome these new families to JW! They will feel a sense of belonging as you make them feel comfortable that their children are in a safe and engaging environment. You will also partner with the orange team to show families where to go.

Contact Heather Griffith hgriffith@jacobswellec.org

Children begin their spiritual journey at birth. Our nursery team provides our littlest ones a safe and nurturing environment in which to develop their first impressions of who God is. Through rocking infants, reading stories, playing on the floor, and engaging with toddlers, you’ll be one of the first examples of Jesus they’ll know.

Children at this age begin to transition from simple songs and activities to purposeful play. Small group leaders build relationships and reinforce the lesson of the month through interactive stories that are set up and ready for you to read.

Contact Erika Ehrhard erika@jacobswellec.org

Because preschool kids are concrete thinkers, we focus on basic Biblical truths. In the classroom, small group leaders build relationships with the kids and reinforce the week's lesson through creative lunch box lessons which are set up and ready for you to teach. They also support the large group leader by engaging with the kids during large group time.

Through engaging environments and creative Bible teaching, our K-1 ministry is uniquely designed to grab kids’ attention as they allow Jesus to change their hearts. Here you have the opportunity to build relationships with these amazing kids as you help them take their next steps to become like Jesus.

During small group and large group times you’ll be part of a team of the planet's best volunteer leaders who work together teaching 3rd-5th grade kids how to do the greatest thing they could do with their lives...

love Jesus with all their hearts. In large group, you’ll participate in dynamic teaching, using drama, fun games, crazy characters, as well as engaging worship. In small group, you will journey alongside a child and help him/her experience the BELONG commitment while helping build lasting friendships with peers, encouraging him/her as he/she grows and take steps to know and become more like Jesus.

SMALL GROUPS

Small Group Leader

Small group leaders help provide a great place to belong and take next steps. Most JW small groups start by someone desiring to serve others out of what God is doing in their own life. Is God calling you to do something, change something, serve someone, or help others grow? We believe He doesn't want us to do it alone! Let's have a conversation and see if leading a group could be your next step.
