At Jacob’s Well, we offer a variety of volunteer serving opportunities. Each of us is gifted with unique talents and abilities which God desires to use to help others grow in their faith. We also have many ministry needs to accomplish the vision God has given Jacob's Well. In order to see people discover God and journey towards Him, it really takes our entire church community.

Building/Facility
Clean Team - The clean team rotates through the church deep cleaning each area so they are ready for ministry purposes.

Grounds Team - If mowing, trimming, raking, and just working outside is appealing, this team is for you. Help on this team by creating well-landscaped and maintained building grounds.

Setup/Take Down Team - Serve behind the scenes. Assist the worship team and children’s ministry by setting up and taking down equipment during the week and on the weekends.

Snow Removal Team - If you like the outdoors and the fresh, cool air, we could use your help in keeping our sidewalks safe and free of snow and ice.

Work Order Team - Jacob’s Well is blessed to have a large, beautiful facility that is a beehive of activity throughout the week. But it takes work to keep it in the condition everybody expects and wants. The Work Order Teams support the ongoing building maintenance functions that accomplish this. If you like working with your hands and getting involved in woodworking, electrical, painting and a host of other activities, please consider volunteering on a Work Order Team. The hours and activities are very flexible, varying from week to week based on current needs.

Office Volunteer - Perform routine office tasks to help the office run efficiently. By helping, you allow the office staff to better meet the needs of the people at Jacob’s Well.

Small Groups/Care
Connections Team - Reach out to newcomers by welcoming them to the church and getting into spiritual conversations to help them in their journey towards knowing and becoming like Jesus.

Prayer Team - Receive e-mail prayer requests given by attendees on Sunday through their communication card and through the week as they come into the church office.

Small Group Leader - Facilitate small groups that help people take next steps towards God in authentic community. You will receive support from a small group coach to help you.

Stephen Ministry - Do you have a special concern for hurting people? This is a one to one care ministry in which individuals are given extensive training and supervision in order to provide quality emotional and spiritual support to those going through difficult times.

Elementary Large Group Leaders - If you enjoy performing with puppets, participating in dramas and crazy skits, and just plain getting messy having fun in front of a large group of kids, this is for you!

Elementary Next Steps Leaders - Help an elementary age group discover how to live out the lesson. Kids are taking next steps and growing closer to God. Come help them see how living with God is the best way to live!

Elementary Worship Leaders - Be a part of the team that leads worship from DVD’s for the 1st through 5th graders. The songs are fun and engaging. The actions the leaders teach the kids help the waterworks worship time to be the best part of the 1st-5th graders week!!

Nursery Leaders - Do you love crawling around on the floor chasing toddlers, singing songs, rocking infants, and making little ones laugh? Come be the first example of Jesus our littlest ones at Jacob’s Well get to know.

Preschool Large Group Leaders - Did you know preschoolers are memorizing scripture? Can you see yourself using creative tools to make Bible stories come alive for our 4, 5 and 6yr olds? We are using skits, puppets, story telling and much more to grab the 4, 5, and 6yr olds hearts for God.

Preschool Worship Leaders - Be a part of the team that leads worship from CD’s for the 4, 5 and 6yr olds. Our preschoolers are worshipping God through music, and it is awesome to see their little hands lifted up to God in praise as they follow the simple actions to the songs.

Registration Desk Team - Registration desk workers help welcome new families to the waterworks program by registering them into the computer system and showing them around the waterworks wing.

Registration Guard Team - Our “guards” are vital to our families as they check out each family member when the family leaves the waterworks area. If you can point a scanner on a bar code and push a couple of buttons with a smile this job will be a piece of cake for you.

Two And A Half - Three Year Old Leaders - Our 2 ˝ yr -3 yr olds love participating in their own worship time. Come join us as we lead these precious little ones in worship during their large group. The worship is led from CD’s and the kids love the little actions they get to do as they sing. You will also help lead a small scripture memory time and lesson time. You heart will be touched and filled with joy as you watch even the youngest Jacob’s Well attendees getting closer in relationship with Jesus.

Greeters - Warmly greet the people who set foot in Jacob’s Well with a handshake and smile. We want to welcome people to our community - a place to take their next steps toward God.
